SudoExam runs serious exams online — from multiple choice to full accounting workbooks with tabs and live formulas. The clock, the saving and the scores all live on the server, so the exam stays fair even when a laptop doesn't.

Section A · What you get
Answer all questions. Every mark is explainable.
In accounting, one wrong figure flows into every line after it. SudoExam checks each answer two ways — against the official figure, and against the student's own earlier work — and awards whichever is fair. Examiners see exactly why every mark was given, cell by cell.
Multiple choice through essays, up to a financial workbook that behaves like a spreadsheet — tabbed sheets, formulas that calculate as students type. Already have the answer template in Excel? Import the file and it becomes the question, formulas included.
The timer runs on the server, not the laptop. Answers save as they are typed, and a crashed browser resumes exactly where it stopped. Leaving the exam screen brings a clear, counted warning — logged, and always open to review.
Essays and judgement questions wait in a marking queue, oldest first. Suggested marks on mixed questions are confirmed in one click. Every mark records who gave it, and why.
Students see nothing until the examiner releases the results. A pass issues a certificate with its own serial number — and anyone can check that number on a public page, no account needed.
Section B · How it works
Write questions or import your Excel answer templates. Publishing locks an exact copy of every question — later edits never touch a live exam.
Students join inside the window you set. The server keeps the time, saves every answer, and steps in — fairly — if the rules are broken.
Numbers are marked the moment the paper is handed in, own figures included. Essays go to your markers. Anything automatic can be reviewed and changed.
Check the results, then release them together. Passing students receive a certificate that anyone can verify online.
Section C · Public verification
Every certificate carries its own serial number and a short verification code. Type either one here and see who earned it, for which exam, and when. No account. No phone calls.
Every automatic decision — a warning, an auto-submit, a mark — is logged, explained, and reversible by an examiner.
